FAQ
Questions about Shanti Rath & Shav Vahini
Direct answers for trusts, committees, and institutions considering a funeral vehicle.
A Shanti Rath — also known as shav vahini, moksh rath, antim rath, or moksh vahini — is a specially fabricated funeral vehicle trailer designed for dignified transport of the deceased on their final journey. Built on a heavy-duty metal chassis with seating for family members, decorative religious finish, and secure bier space, it serves village trusts, temple trusts, municipalities, and NGOs across India.
The price of a Shanti Rath depends on size, customisation level, decorative finish, and quantity ordered — we do not publish fixed rates because every build is made to order. Our standard dimensions are 14.5 ft overall length, 6 ft body width, and 8.75 ft height, but we offer full custom sizing. Call or WhatsApp +91 94272 69621 for a same-day verbal quotation.
Yes — every Shanti Rath and shav vahini is built at our Jasdan, Rajkot workshop and delivered across Gujarat and all India. We have supplied vehicles to Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and other states. Delivery logistics and cost are agreed at the time of ordering.
Typical lead time for a standard Shanti Rath is approximately 3–6 weeks from order confirmation, depending on current production schedule and customisation level. Highly decorative or multi-unit orders may take longer — we provide an estimated timeline when you place your order. These timelines are approximate and confirmed at booking.
Yes — most of our Shanti Rath orders come from gram trusts, mandir trusts, antyesti samitis, nagarpalikas, NGOs, and charitable institutions. We provide direct quotations with no agency fee, and can supply formal written quotations by email for institutional procurement processes.

Questions before you commission?
We have answers.
Everything a trust or committee typically asks — answered plainly. When you're ready, we're one call away.
Our standard Shanti Rath body measures 10 ft in length, 6 ft in width, and 8.75 ft in height (with a 3.5 ft tongue). These are working dimensions from our production drawing. We also offer full customisation — body length, interior layout, decorative finish, and lettering — so the vehicle can be built to your trust's specific requirements.
Lead time depends on the current production schedule and the level of customisation requested. For a standard Shanti Rath, typical turnaround is 3–6 weeks from order confirmation. We deliver across Gujarat and pan-India — delivery timelines for outstation orders are discussed at the time of booking.
Every vehicle includes a sturdy body-bier for dignified transport, seating planks for family members, a dedicated space for the urn (asthi kalash), built-in LED lighting for night use, a donation box, and a heavy-duty chassis built for long-term use. An in-built music/bhajan system can be included on request.
The Shanti Rath is a trailer unit — it is towed by a standard tractor, jeep, or similar vehicle. The towing vehicle is not included in our supply; we supply only the fabricated trailer body. The tongue length of 3.5 ft is compatible with most standard hitch points.
All painting, finishing, and decorative work — including the outer body colour, gold filigree panels, religious text, and wheel detailing — is done in-house at our workshop in Jasdan, Rajkot. The vehicle is delivered ready for use; no additional finishing is required from your end.
Yes — most of our orders come directly from village trusts, temple trusts, and community committees. Simply call or WhatsApp us with your requirements. We will discuss the specification, share a quotation, and confirm the order on advance payment. No middleman, no agency fee.
